AIO Weather is built to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what the app uses, why, and who it's shared with. We never sell personal information.
With your permission, the app uses your device's location to show local weather, radar, alerts, local news, and nearby places. Your coordinates are sent only to the weather, news, and mapping services listed below, solely to answer each request (for example, "what is the forecast at these coordinates"). We do not store your location on any server of ours, and we do not maintain a history of where you have been. You can deny location access and search for cities manually instead — the app works either way.
The free version of AIO Weather shows a small banner ad served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect device information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general (coarse) location, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your App Store account — we never see your payment details. To know whether your subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, which processes your purchase history for this app and a random app-scoped identifier (not your name or email), subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
You can optionally create an AIO Weather account (email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google). If you do, your email address and sign-in identifier are stored securely with our authentication provider (Supabase) to operate your account. You can use the entire app without an account.
If you use the in-app feedback form, the text you type (a category, title, and description) is delivered to our inbox via the FormSubmit relay service so we can read it. The form does not ask for, or send, your name, email address, location, or any device identifier. Please avoid including personal information in the message itself.
To work, the app requests data from these providers. Each receives only what is needed to answer the request (such as map coordinates), subject to their own privacy policies:
Your settings, recent location searches, and saved preferences are stored only on your device (and your personal iCloud device backup, if enabled). We cannot access them.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
